Global air cargo rates bongdaso con demand witnessed modest increases during the second full week of March, according to the latest weekly figures fromWorldACD Market Data. While most regions recorded growth, the Middle East & South Asia (MESA) region was the sole major origin area to register a decline in tonnages.

In Week 11 (March 10–16), worldwide tonnages rose by+1% compared to the previous week, marking a+3% year-on-year (YoY) increase. This week-on-week (WoW) growth was primarily driven by gains inCentral & South America (+4%)bongdaso con theAsia Pacific (+3%), as markets in the latter region continued to recover from the Lunar New Year (LNY) holiday.

Spot rates averaged.92 per kilogram, largely stable compared to the previous week, with no significant WoW changes across key origin markets.

Rates from China to Europe dropped-2%to.87 per kilogram, marking the fifth consecutive WoW decline.

Despite recent declines, spot rates remain+16% higher YoY, including notable YoY increases from:

Asia Pacific to the USA:

Average spot rates were.91 per kilogram, a slight WoW decrease (-1%), but still+11% higher YoY.

Global Averages:
